Naomi Cherny, long time member of Mensa, passed away at her home in Lexington after successfully battling cancer for many years. For many years she was a regular attendant at the RGs in New Hampshire and on the Cape. Although not active recently she enjoyed hosting and attending game nights. Being a member of Mensa was one of her proudest achievements. She frequently encouraged others to apply and join and made of point of attending local Mensa meetings when traveling.

Funeral will be Wednesday July 14. Service at Temple Emunah in Lexington probably at 12:30 followed by burial next to her husband in the Lexington Cemetery on Bedford Street. Donations to the American Cancer Society.

I'm doing o.k. She was home which is where she wanted to be. She died peacefully in her sleep. Her deterioration was relatively rapid. She will be missed.
